D'Evelyn Registration

D'Evelyn Registration Day

We encourage all available students/families to come to Registration Day on Monday, August 9 anytime between 8:00-11:30 or 12:30-3:00 in the main gym. This is a great chance for students and families to reconnect with the school, review their schedules, access lockers, pay fees, return books and materials, buy some D’Evelyn gear from the school store, and learn about some of our extra-curricular activities.

What to do before you come to Registration Day:

Before starting the registration process, gather information such as your Parent Portal ID (call the counseling office if you need help: 303.982.0873), emergency contact information, and required immunizations. If your student is new to D'Evelyn, you will need to bring copies of these documents to school (if you haven't already done this):

  • Birth certificate

  • Immunization record

  • Proof of residency (house contract, deed, lease agreement or bill mailed to the home)

Login to Campus Portal with your Parent Portal ID and select your student. Then complete the following items:

  • Confirm and/or update the following: Student Information (phone numbers & emails are crucial), Residence, Contacts, Enrollment Information, and Health Records.

  • 11th & 12th grade students will need to complete the Military Opt-Out Form, checking the appropriate box.

  • Review and acknowledge Agreements (FERPA, Code of Conduct, Technology, and a few others.)

Paying School Fees Online:

School fees will be available online starting on Friday, August 6. If you want to pay your school fees online, return to the home page for Campus Portal and select the Jeffco Student Fee Payment link which can be found on the bottom left of the home page. If you bring in the receipt showing school fees paid, you can skip the Fee line and expedite your process for picking up the student planner, parking passes, etc…  Remember fees marked "Opt", are optional fees.

School Meals:

While full breakfast and lunch meals are free for the 21-22 school year, students wanting a la carte items will need to pay for those items. Students can either pay with cash or use the Schoolcafe app. To set-up an account or add money to your child(ren)'s lunch account, click here Schoolcafe. The link can also be found in Campus Portal. If applicable, complete the Free and Reduced lunch program application. This application can also be used to apply for waivers for school fees and transportation fees if the appropriate selections are made on the form.

What students/families take care of during registration day:

Schedules will be released and accessible in Infinite Campus on Friday, August 6th. We encourage you to attend registration with a digital or hard copy of your schedule, as we will not have printed copies available. Most individuals access their schedule on their phones through the Infinite Campus App. You only need to attend the stations pertinent to your child’s needs.

The first station in the gym will be where new families can submit their required paperwork (birth certificates, immunizations, proof of residency). This will also be where we collect health forms and medications for all students needing them.

The next station will be where students/families can meet with their counselors to discuss schedule concerns. Schedule changes are only allowed for: wrong level placement, missing course requirements, and missing classes. Due to increased student enrollment numbers we have limited availability for schedule changes as most electives and core classes are completely full.

Once schedule concerns are addressed, or if there are no schedule concerns, students can continue to the School Fees station. Payment may be made with credit card, check, or cash. This is usually the longest line, so families may find value in paying fees online beforehand. If families have already paid fees online (please bring a copy of the receipt), they can skip this station and proceed to the next station to pick-up items they may have paid for such as: the academic planner, the 20-21 yearbook, or the 21-22 parking passes. Students that have purchased a parking pass and completed the 21-22 D’Evelyn Parking Application, will need to submit a copy of their driver’s license and proof of insurance. We won’t have a copy machine available so make copies at home.

The last stations in the gym will be for families to learn about some of our sports, clubs, activities, and organizations. We will have representatives from these groups available to give an overview of the programs and answer any questions. We encourage families to get involved in these extracurricular activities to help them make connections and feel part of the larger school community.

Stations outside of the gym:

Library for 1:1 Devices

For the 2021-2022 school year, all 9th graders will receive new TechForEd devices and 6th, 7th, 10th and 11th graders will have the TechForEd devices they received when they were in 5th or 9th grade. Students who are new to the district/attended a district charter school and are in grades that are enrolled in the TechforEd program will receive devices as well. Please come up to the library to pick up your device and charger. *If students are 8th or 12th graders we have devices available for year long check out!

School Store and Tours

We plan on having the school store open so that families can purchase some D’Evelyn clothing and gear. We will also have students available for tours and to help new students locate and practice their locker combinations.

Closing Thoughts:

We eagerly anticipate getting this school year started off successfully and Registration Day helps this to happen. If families are unable to attend, they can also complete most of these steps online.

We look forward to seeing you at Registration on August 9th.

Sincerely,

The D’Evelyn Administration & Staff
